Bonjour!

In KS2, we are working hard to develop our speaking, listening and writing skills during our weekly French lessons. We have a big focus on learning French phonics which feeds into improving both spoken and written work. The children are given lots of opportunities for role-play, story-telling and drama, as well as recording their written work in exciting and creative ways.

As a school, we will enjoy learning French songs and children in both KS1 and KS2 will be able to celebrate International day of languages later in the year. We hope that all children will continue to develop their love of languages and our engaging and interactive lessons will make it a meaningful and enjoyable subject to learn.
